Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Ward attended Monroe Christian School, a Christian private elementary school. She went to Ouachita High School for her secondary studies. However, she moved to River Oaks High School after the summer. After her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward began modeling at the age of thirteen, leaving her school to go into New York. She tried her hand in acting later in the year. She was first cast uncredited in the late 1970s for the soap-opera All My Children. Later, she was cast in NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, she was in the role in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999, she began pursuing an acting career in the film industry, starring as the psychological Brittany Foster in the erotic thriller The In Crowd. It was a theatrical not a success, but it did have an initial success on both DVD and cable. Ward made a cameo appearance on Shallow Hal - a smash movie the following year. Ward also played a part as a guest star on several TV shows and direct-to-DVD movies. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. The personal side of her life is a relationship with producer David C. Robinson. Together, they have the name of a son, Cameron.
